How to Reserve Your Puppy

The puppies are now available for reservations.   We accept cash and funded PayPal only.  To reserve your puppy you will need to contact Jennifer by following this link.  Your $100 deposit will hold your puppy until he or she is ready to go home.

Puppies need to stay with their mother for 8 or more weeks. In many states this is the law.  Though puppies are often weaned by 4-6 weeks old, their sexual, social, and emotional development requires them to stay with their family unit until they are a little older.

With small breeds like Shih Tzu's, Yorkies and by extension our little Shorkies, it is important for them to stay with mom even a little longer, until 10-12 weeks.  Sometimes smaller breeds have a harder time regulating body temperature or blood sugars when they are babies.  Staying with mom enables them to have the best start so that when they come to your home, they are healthy and secure.

Unfortunately this means our puppies will not be under anyone's tree this Christmas.  If you are planning a Christmas gift, and would like to reserve a Shorkie, we can send you a 5x7 picture of your sweet puppy to include with a card and information on when your puppy can be picked up.  You will have a few weeks between Christmas and pick up time to prepare your home for your new puppy.

The puppies will be ready between January 20 and February 11th when they are between 10 and 12 weeks old.  What day an individual dog is ready will depend on that puppy's development and needs.  If you are not local and would like us to ship your puppy, that is something we can talk about and may be able to arrange depending on your location and available flights.  This will be at an increased cost to cover airfare, an extra vet check, a crate, and mileage to the airport.
